Currently based in Alexandria, Virginia, I moved to the United States with my husband in October 2024. Previously living in France, I worked over 5 years for Casamance, a fine fabrics and wallpaper company. Specializing in digital murals, I deepened my knowledge and appreciation for the importance of colours, shapes, and scale: key characteristics in developing a finalized design and telling stories that could one day grace the walls of homes, businesses, and sometimes even films.
The unpredictability of the lines you can create with the tip of your pencil or the strokes of your paintbrush are what make it your very own language. Anything mundane can be turned into something beautiful.
Living abroad offered me a much richer experience than one in my own country. Indeed, I know England and the United States have very different visions and approaches to design compared to France. Globalisation has shown us that it is vital to be open to the world, and for me, being overseas is the best way to discover another culture and different methods of work. I believe that we need to know more about the world and if we learn about the diverse civilisations that surround us, designing it will be worthwhile. It is, therefore, a priority for me to further broaden my horizons and have an open-minded perspective of the world and I strive to display that in my work.
